Wednesday, June 16 at 4:30pm. More than 200 former union members - administrators and principals from the Detroit Public Schools will march into the IBEW Local 58 (Abbott and Trumbull) in what is billed as a "Return to the House of Labor". To quote an earlier e-mai "State legislation in early 2002 removed the union members from the bargaining unit of the Organization of School Adminsitrators and Supervisors (OSAS), however recent "non-renewal" letters to the entire delegation of principals and assistant principals sparked a renewed interest in a "collective" voice at work. Come welcome them back!

Thursday, June 17 at 10 am, Wayne County Commission will take up the county living wage ordinance. They are being spectacularly obstinate, come and show your support. 600 Randolph St. (4th floor).
