David Grenier: Academic bill of rights
"So apparently the "Academic Bill Of Rights" is back in the news again (found via Loaded Mouth), this time in the form of a Florida law that would allow conservative groups to sue professors who they think are too liberal and don't allow "equal time" for dissenting viewpoints. So if a biology professor discusses evolution he can get sued if he doesn't invite the Christian Coalition to come in and give a lecture on Creationism." ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
